The Seven Days Dream is my graduation work. After its first demonstration in the graduation exhibition, it was invited to be displayed in the section of “China’s Edge Animation” of China Xi’an International Animation Festival. The inspiration came from the dream that I had. The leading role that had experienced my dream represents my consciousness. It was born from the chaotic world, and the adventures it took just implied the three statuses that I fear most deep in my heart: death “The Hell of Firing Sea”, to be at the mercy of others “Being Eaten”, and being isolated “Falling into a Bery”.

Class Work

Class Work was the first short animation I have made. It was exhibited as a special program in 2012 France Annecy International Animation Festival. This short animation was about the fantastic ideas and imagination drawn from a function in the mathematics class by a boy. The work aimed to reveal the inevitable contradiction between human being’s nature and the acquired education, which is particularly more severe in China. This story came from my childhood experience, and I hope to display it by visualized language.

Growth (trailer)

I started a new relationship just before the creation of this animation. When I was in sweet love, I had this idea of recording the emotional journey, and then I began to work on the plan for this work, trying to bring my own understanding and experiences into the creation. It was telling the story of a young woman and a young man meeting each other and falling in love to deep lovers. This is a teamwork project and I was in charge of the creation of the script, storyboard painting, characters design and color design.
